My Dear Biggie,
Just so you know, you're not actually graduating. I'm going to find a way to make sure that you don't leave me in just over a week. In just three years of knowing you, I feel like I’ve known you my entire life. You are more than just my big, you’re my family, and as you embark on this new chapter of life after college, I want you to know that you will be missed and forever loved. You were my first friend at Wofford, and I will be eternally grateful for everything you’ve done for me over the past three years.
Not only were you were my first friend at Wofford, you were the first Wofford student I met. I first saw you in the Admission’s Office the night I came for my senior visit. It was getting late—it was definitely after 9 p.m.—but you stayed and waited for me, and then we stayed up talking in your room in Marsh until after 11 p.m. You were so helpful that night and the following day, and you’ve never stopped being there for me when I need you.
The summer went by, but I kept in touch with you, and when I moved in for the fall semester I made sure I had lunch with you. That was when you first told me about Alpha Phi Omega and told me all about the incredible service fraternity that has become such a huge part of my life at Wofford. The spring of my freshman year I rushed APO. Just a few weeks later, you became more than just a close friend, you became my big.
I have so many amazing memories with you, biggie, I can’t remember them all. I’ve come to you so many times since freshman year for help and guidance, and you’ve always supported me, no matter what. I definitely can’t pick a favorite memory with you, and I don’t want to. So instead I’ll just say thanks for everything, biggie. Your friendship has been one of the biggest blessings I have received since I chose to come to Wofford. You have truly been the best mentor and older "brother" a girl could ever ask for. I can’t ever thank you enough, but from the bottom of my heart, I wish you the best of luck with all your future endeavors.Love forever,
Your Little
