Men Can Benefit From Cosmetic Treatments Too!

Attention, men! How frequently do you think about your skincare regimen

Men Can Benefit From Cosmetic Treatments Too!

If you answered, “Um…never?” you’re not alone! However, practicing good skincare and receiving cosmetic skin treatments can be highly beneficial to people of all genders. Here are some of the ways men can benefit from regular cosmetic services and treatments such as facials, peels, and more!

Helps Unclog Pores (And Reduce Pore Size!)

Men tend to have rougher skin and larger pores than women, which can cause them to be more visible and prone to becoming clogged with everyday dirt and grime. Additionally, men’s high levels of testosterone also means that they produce more oil than women do, which can lead to clogged pores, pimples, and blackheads. Getting regular facials and following a nightly skincare regimen can help men keep clogged pores at bay, resulting in smoother, healthier skin and smaller pores.

In addition to unclogging pores and minimizing their appearance, facial treatments can also help avoid further skin problems such as age spots, skin tags, and acne breakouts.

A Smoother Shave

Running a sharp razor over a bumpy skin surface is no fun! Help avoid irritation, razor burn, and inflammation by starting with smoother skin, courtesy of regular facial treatments. It’s simple, really: the smoother your skin, the better, closer shave you’ll get, without any of the (literally) irritating side effects!

Here’s an added bonus: since facials include exfoliation, you’ll notice a reduced amount of ingrown hairs from shaving that can turn into pimples or marks.

Age-Defying Results

Time affects all of us, no matter our gender. Turn back the clock and take years off your age with regular cosmetic treatments to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Whether you opt for skin-smoothing facials or prefer something a little more beefy, like microdermabrasion, peels, or fillers, to help slow the hands of time, you will leave your aesthetician looking and feeling refreshed and youthful!

While people may associate skincare with women, the truth is that anyone with skin should be looking for ways to take good care of it! With regular cosmetic facial treatments and a nightly skincare regimen, you’ll be able to feel better about your appearance and love what you see when you look in the mirror. Since your face is the first thing people see when they meet you, it’s important to be sure it looks its best. Take a look at an aesthetics medspa OKC that can help you rejuvenate your skin- you won’t regret it!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
