"I'm stuck between 'if it's meant to be it will be' and 'if you want it go get it.'" As beyond accurate this quote is, it makes a person wonder which one is it? Many of us believe if it's mean to be, it'll happen. You can't force things for a reason, but begs the question are we supposed to if we really want it?
It all comes down to your views and beliefs on life. If you follow the belief system of "it's meant to be it'll be" then you either have strong faith or a believer in karma and such. As having faith is knowing you have set plan or now certain things are supposed to happen. You think, "well if it's not gonna happen, its for a reason and I dodged a bullet." OR if you did force a situation, it usually ends bad.
But, letting things happen and not actually putting forth effort, does it show you don't care enough? Are you supposed to go for it or listen to your gut? How much should you actually try? Each one go hand in hand, depending on the situation. It's up to YOU and YOUR decision making on it.
Wondering a lot leads to overthinking, a lot. At the end of the day, it's up to you to figure out if you want to lean on faith or lean on ourself. Each as there's pros and cons. Listen to your gut, because if you work hard things are meant to be.
