Me and You
I think I'd just like to sit awhile
In the crevice of your neck
Or maybe
Inside your brain, gently peering at the inner workings
Of a world so familiar.
I think I'd just like to sit awhile
And melt into your eyes
And pass right into your soul,
A radiating envelopment of ecstasy.
Would you like to sit awhile?
And wonder why the world is quite bizarre
And maybe take a sandwich or two to a park,
Existing in a continuum open exclusively
To me and to you.
I think I'd just like to sit awhile
And graze your finger with mine
Silently
But then again
Not so silently at all.
