McDonald's finally did it. Breakfast is served, all day long. You can now stumble your way from the bar to McDonald's and order that sausage McMuffin at 3 a.m. So, in honor of McDonald's announcing 24 hour breakfast starting Oct. 6, I decided to compile a list of my top five favorite breakfast items on the McDonald's menu.
5. Sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddle

The McGriddle was a game changer when it arrived on the menu in 2003. They took the classic meat, egg, and cheese combination and added syrup-infused goodness to make the griddle cakes.
4. Cinnamon Melts

Cinnamon for breakfast? I don't see why not. The cinnamon melts are the most slept on item on the breakfast menu. I guarantee these will be the best tasting balls you'll ever put in your mouth.
3. Big Breakfast with Hotcakes.
The Big Breakfast has been a staple in the McDonald's breakfast line-up for a long time now. It isn't hard to see why this is a very popular dish. With its fluffy eggs, fat sausage, buttery biscuit, and crispy hash brown, this plate is loaded with goodies.
2. Sausage McMuffin

The sausage McMuffin is one of my go-to items because of its low price and high amount of tastiness.
1. The Hash Browns

I know you all saw this coming from a mile away. Who doesn't love the hash browns from McDonald's? I order at least four of them every time I have breakfast there. Every fast food restaurant has a hash brown, but every single one of them falls way short of the crispy greasy goodness of the McDonald's hash brown.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank McDonald's for finally answering the number one issue Americans have with them. Serving breakfast all day is a true blessing, and we salute you, Ronald McDonald.
