10 Reasons You Should Marry Your Best Friend

Think about it, what could be better than spending the rest of your life with your best friend? Your partner in crime, the Christina Yang to your Meredith Grey, your person. Answer: Nothing.

1. You can be yourself around them.

No matter how weird you are, they accept you. From your Netflix binges to your obnoxious laugh, they still choose to be around you. They never ask you to be someone else.

2. You don’t have to dress nice.

Your best friend could care less whether you’re wearing a super hot red dress you just got from Forever21, or the sweatpants your mom bought you from GoodWill when you were 13. Also: no bra. What more could you ask for?!

3.You don’t have to cook for them.

Truth is, they’d rather order Chinese food then eat your awful creations anyway. I mean, really, it’s 2016 - not every woman can maneuver a crockpot.

4. They get your inside jokes.

Let’s be real, your future husband/wife wouldn’t understand the crazy things you and your best friend cook up. You never have to worry about sitting in an awkward silence as they try to understand why your joke is funny.

5. You don’t have to sleep in the same bed.

Nobody wants to share, no matter how much you love someone. Wouldn’t you rather have that king-sized bed to yourself than share it? Plus, there won’t be any snoring to bother you!

6. You can share everything with them.

There’s no need to be embarrassed of the stupid things you get upset over or to hide your secrets. Your best friend will understand and go buy you ice cream the second they see a tear roll down your face and never tell a soul anything you don't want anybody else to hear.

7. You don’t have to censor yourself.

In all honesty, everyone censors themselves in a relationship. Nobody is truly comfortable with being 100 percent themselves - except around their best friend.

8. You don’t have to sexually appease them.

Everyone has a time when their partner wants to get their rocks off but he or she isn’t in the mood. You don’t have to worry about that with your best friend. They’ll totally understand!

9. You’ll never get too annoying for them.

Your best friend already knows that you have the ability to drive them up a wall. But they love you for it.

10. They love you unconditionally

Nobody other than your best friend would hide a dead body for you. Nobody.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about.
