Could Laughing Be The Best Medicine In A Time Of Need?

Being a Working College Student, it is often times hard to be able to get through School every semester with the best grades possible. There have been times where I have struggled to find time just to be able to do my homework or have struggled to find time just to be able to sleep. I have managed to be able to get through school and work and still managed to be able to get at least a somewhat decent amount of sleep throughout the semester. I feel like even though this kind of stuff is pretty tough to try to all balance at once, the hardest part about trying to get through College while Working would probably be trying to find a way to laugh every once in a while.

I have seen from experience that it is, more times than not, hard to try to find the light in every situation throughout the day, even if a person get through the day okay and still manage to possibly get a little bit of sleep at night. It is next to impossible to be able to get at least one genuine laugh out during a day if someone can’t see the good in any situation that they are in. Lucky for me though, I have been able to get to know my boss and my other coworkers a lot better in the three years that I have worked with them. Since I have gotten to know them, I have been able to joke around with them a lot more and get more laughs in throughout the day. It is so much easier to have a better day when I can go to work, something that most people were to think is one of the worst things for them to be able to do, and to be able to laugh several times throughout the shift.

With most jobs it is hard to be able to connect with the boss and other coworkers the way that some of us are able to, so it may not be the easiest thing to try to be able to joke around and have a laugh with someone that we work with. I guess I just got lucky with having a boss and coworkers who like to brighten the mood at a job that isn’t necessarily the greatest job ever by throwing around a joke every once in a while. A little advice to those who don’t have coworkers or a boss that can throw around jokes here or there while at work to make it easier to have a laugh at work, try to find ways to laugh and try to find ways to make those around you laugh here or there.. There are a lot of ways that a person can make themselves laugh while they are at work, even if it seems ridiculous to be laughing at the job that they are working at.

There are many ideas for those who want to try to make themselves or those around them laugh while at work. A person that laughs at themselves and jokes about themselves can often times make those around them laugh. They just have to find something about themselves that they are secure about, and make some sort of joke about it. Some other ideas to make coworkers laugh would be to find out what kind of jokes or subjects make your coworkers laugh and talk about these subjects with your coworkers. Even just trying to lighten the mood at work with a knock knock joke on a stressful day could end up causing someone to laugh and end the day in a slightly better mood than they would have otherwise.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
