The 21st century is the most advanced century ever. The future is now. That being said, with all the technology that has come out over the past years, humans are doing less and less. I am not saying that humans are necessarily lazy, but things have been made easier for people these days because of all the technological advances. Although we thought we'd have hover boards by now, one of the newest inventions called the self-balancing scooter or as I've heard it called "swag way," is one of the latest things to encourage lazier people. With the self balancing scooter, a person literally just has to stand on it and it will move them around. Sure it gets you around faster but for most people, walking from place to place is where the majority of their exercise comes from throughout the day. It's okay to have fun with that kind of technology but we also have to know that it can be fun to workout too! Fitness should be something that every person enjoys doing. There would be less obesity and health problems in the world if that were the case. I'm here to tell you how to make fitness your friend.

It's easy to get bored while working out, especially if you're doing it for the first time. To make it more fun you can make a playlist to listen to while you run, walk or lift. Listening to music while working out pumps me up so much and makes the time go by much faster because I'm focusing on the music I like rather than how much time I've spent on the treadmill. When I'm in the zone just listening to my music I get such a good workout and I actually enjoy it!

Don't you want to feel healthy and happy too? Working out can contribute to significantly! Even if you eat well, your body is still designed to move. Your body wants to exercise. We were not made to be couch potatoes. It should be a great thing to know that only 30 minutes a day of exercise can make such a difference in the long run. I promise you that you will feel so much better about yourself if you take the time to exercise and maybe you will even start fitting into those jeans from 5 years ago.

Another great reason to make fitness your friend is to meet cute guys or girls at the gym! If that's not motivation for you single people, then I don't know what is. Girls, get on that squat rack and get those guys' attention! Men, start curling and I know that girls will start flashing looks in your direction. What's more fun then to go to the gym and have a few people to flirt with?

Not only is fitness about working out, but it is also about maintaining a healthy and balanced diet. Eating healthy doesn't have to be boring! There are plenty of variety of foods you can eat that are good for you! Eat the rainbow and I don't mean skittles. Vegetables, fruits, natural things! They are all good for you and extremely tasty!

These are just a few things to make you want to be fit. I promise once you get started, you wont want to quit! Start now! Make fitness your friend.
