This is part two to the previous article "7 LUSH Products You Need In Your Life." Frankly LUSH is amazing and so are all their products and limiting the ones you need to just seven is ridiculous. To recap what LUSH is, it's a handmade, organic cosmetics store that started in England and has gone worldwide. 1. King of Skin
Okay, so this product is super amazing because it is an in-shower moisturizer/ lotion. Often when you get out of the shower you'll notice your skin feels very dry and sometimes itchy. The water, depending on how hard it is, can irritate and inflame the skin which causes it to dry out. When you try and apply lotion you may realize it's either not helping or you're having to apply a lot; enter King of Skin. King of Skin is a solid body butter that interacts with the water to release a creamy moisture. Rub the bar on any notoriously dry areas or all over after washing and then rinse off; when you get out of the bath or shower make sure to PAT dry vs. rub. King of Skin moisturizes you before you pores close up after getting wet, leaving you feeling super soft. The bar has super rich cocoa butter and is preservative free so you know you're getting the best of the best.
2. Rub Rub Rub
Rub Rub Rub is an amazing shower scrub that comes in either a jar or in a solid bar. Now personally I prefer the tub just because it's easier to manage, but the bar is really nice for a deeper exfoliation and if you want a little more quantity control. Another great feature is its soapy quality that can be used as a body wash or shampoo; hooray for versatile. This wonderfully fragrant scrub has orange flower absolute, organic lemon juice, fine sea salt, mimosa absolute and a lot more fresh and yummy ingredients to make your skin soft and glowey. I find this exfoliant nice because it's not harsh on sensitive skin, and it smells so amazing.
3. Mask of Magnaminty
Face masks, friends. These are a thing of beauty; especially this one. Okay so Mask of Magnaminty is kind of like LUSH's super power face mask. If you're noticing your skin is looking rough, spotty and/or dull, this mask will change your life. It has wonderful ingredients like peppermint oil, bentonite gel, ground aduki beans, honey, African marigold oil and much more. The mask is going to be super cleansing; peppermint will help open your pores while the bentonite gel performs a deep cleans. The beans and seeds will provide a wonderfully soft exfoliation and all the other oils will leave your skin looking as if there's a back light behind it. Trust me, this mask is amazing. It can also be used anywhere on the body to help brighten and soften arms and legs.
4. Softy
Ah, foot lotion. "Why do I need lotion for my feet?" Well feet need to be taken care of; unfortunately most of this world suffers from smelly and crackly feet and nothing is done about it. Especially now that it's summer and sandal season is upon us, we need some extra TLC for our feet. Softy is lotion for your feet that will soften and help take away stubborn calluses and dry patches on the bottom and tops of your feet. Apply it at night and then put on a pair of comfy socks and go to bed. When you wake up in the morning you'll notice your feet will not only be super fresh smelling, but also noticeably smoother and softer. The lotion includes ingredients such as almond oil, cocoa butter and marshmallow root powder to help revitalize your feet!
5. Roots
Time to rave about Roots; this awesome hair treatment is going to help your hair grow in fuller and faster. It's packed with peppermint that helps open up hair follicles and helps it grow faster. Just apply Roots once or twice a week to either your whole scalp or just problem areas; leave in for 20-ish minutes and then shampoo out as normal. You'll start noticing short after that your hair is blossoming, which is so awesome. This treatment isn't just for those with fine hair. This is also going to be really good with helping hair grow in better in spotty hairlines or trouble areas from previous chemical treatments. As said before, Roots has peppermint oil in it as well as sweet orange oil, spearmint oil, grapefruit oil and tons more. All to help your hair!
