Korean-pop (mostly known as K-POP) has taken the world and my heart by storm! This upcoming year, my love for K-POP will turn five! To celebrate this amazing encounter with music that has completely taken over most of my storage space, I have decided to list the top six KPOP men that have stolen my heart because why not?

First, we have Kevin Woo, a singer for the idol group, U-KISS. U-KISS is one of the first k-pop groups I really fell in love with and have been since! I was just watching random videos of K-POP groups and there they were, on my suggestions list. Just look at him, how can you not love that angelic face! Personally, my two favorite songs are Inside of Me and Believe.

The second, is Cho Kyuhyun, the maknae of Super-Junior. I had the luck of listening to Super-Junior through a friend, who is actually the one who introduced me to K-POP. This guy not only stole my heart because of his strong vocals, but also because of his sharp tongue! Do not test him, he will destroy you with words (in good fun)! I love most of the songs that Super Junior has but I will pick three of my favorite (and that’s not enough!). I would have to say It’s You, Why I Like You and All is in You.

The third man, and probably the one on top of this list is none other than Jung Yonghwa, singer, guitarist and composer for the band CNBLUE. I really loved his voice and the fact that he knows how to use his charms, especially his big beautiful eyes! I knew of CNBLUE but I did not start listening to them until I saw Yonghwa on Running Man (a Korean variety show). It was there that I learned of his kid-like playful nature! He is all in one *faints*. Just like Super-Junior, I like almost everything CNBLUE makes so I will once again choose three songs. They are Lie, Love Light and Radio. And because I love him wholeheartedly, I shall insert a gif!

The fourth man was somewhat of a late bloomer for me. I always loved the group, but I didn’t have a particular favorite. His name is Jung Jingyoung, singer and composer of B1A4. The one thing that really warmed him up to me was his adorable awkwardness and his sincerity. Not to say all the others are not sincere but you can really feel it with Jinyoung. B1A4 has some hits and misses, but my two favorite is Sweet Girl and How Many Times.

The fifth man, is SeokJin also known as Jin from the group BTS. I hate to admit that he wasn’t my favorite at first, but he quickly jumped to the top of the list with his cuteness and awkwardness. He is a hard-worker and though he can’t dance very well, he still tries his best! Unfortunately, even though he has nice vocals he doesn’t get more than one or two lines in songs. Here is to hoping that it will change in the near future! (by the way, I went crazy when he died his hair blonde, he looks just like a Barbie!). My favorite songs by BTS are I Need You, One Day and Run.

The last man of this list is someone who has become the latest addition! His name is Park Jinyoung (formerly known as Junior), singer and composer of GOT7. Personally, I never really liked GOT7 until they came out with If You Do. After I heard that song, it’s was like boom! I suddenly see them in a different light. I still don’t really like their early work except for A. However, I fell in love with Jinyoung when I saw the dance practice version of Just Right. There was a certain movement he did that just captivated me. I think it was his eyes but I’m not sure. Either way, I unfortunately don’t have gif for it *cries*. My favorite songs by GOT7 are If You Do, Fly and Mayday.

So that is it for this list! I hope you enjoyed! And if you haven’t listened to any k-pop music, what are you waiting for? New year, new music!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
