If you have ever had a pet whom you called your best friend and treated like family, then you can relate to this.
Pets are supposed to be there to help and protect their families. They are supposed to bring joy and happiness to those around them. Which is why, in return, we must take care of our pets as well. Without our pets, we would be completely lost. They love to see us come home after being gone for hours and gives us lots of hugs and kisses. They love to spend quality time with us because it is the best part of their day.
We have a lot to thank our pets for. Whether it be a dog a cat, a bird, a ferret, etc. They are always there for us and make us laugh when we are sad. They live life simply and do not over-think crazy situations. They are perfectly content with a treat and some loving hugs by you.
There are many wonderful pets out there, but after having your own personal experience, I am sure we all say we will never find another pet as good as the one we had. Of course, you will never be able to replace a loved pet.
We have so many fond memories that we should be grateful for. At first, it is difficult to talk about the memories. But eventually, as you tell the stories, you will just laugh and laugh, with maybe only happy tears instead of sad tears. You will smile knowing they had a good life and that you will see them again one day.
You will feel empty without them. Suddenly your daily life turned from this to that in a split second. It is a weird feeling, I know. I do not think we ever completely get over it, either. Still, in our hearts, we search for that pet. We search to hear them, to feel them and to smell them.
Enjoy every single minute you have with your pet. Treat them right, because they depend on us and deserve the very best on Earth. Create memories with them so you have stories to tell. Take pictures with them and put them in a scrapbook. Buy them a box of treats and toys to spoil them. Most importantly, love them. Love them because they love you.
