Dear Animal Lovers of the World,
We animal lovers share a special bond and devotion to all creatures big and small. Whether it is volunteering at the local animal shelter, rescuing orphaned baby animals, or even running our pet's personal Instagram page; our excitement for animals just cannot be contained. Often times, we identify with animals better than we do with people. I mean, come on; they never talk back to offer another opinion that you just don't want to hear, they don't fight with you, and are always there give you unconditional love and slobbery wet kisses.
Lets face it, our pets aim to please us! No matter the kind of day you are having, your pets are always eagerly waiting for you with tail wags and kisses. Admit it! We are also kind of obsessed with our fur babies. You might be an animal lover if your camera roll on your phone has more pictures of your pets than it has of yourself, if vacation becomes unenjoyable because you can't want home to get to home to your furry friend, or if you greet other dog walkers in the park by saying, "Hey! Can I please pet your dog?".
By being an animal lover, you can never quite decide what your favorite animal is. You love all animals from hamsters to Great Danes! You have no problem sleeping crowded on 4 inches of bed while your 4 pound chihuahua rules the rest of the bed. When guests come over and comment on all the fur on the couch, you simply think in your head, "It's their home, NOT YOURS!" To combat all of the fur, you simply keep a vacuum and lint roller handy! Not having the cleanest and tidiest home is perfectly acceptable, as long as your furry friends are happy and healthy.
As animal lovers, we often times spend great amounts of money on expensive beds, habitats, and chew toys, even though we all know our pet's favorite thing to chew on is our tennis shoes. All of the vet bills, food expenses, and money spent on grooming is totally worth it to see your pet happy and healthy! We treat animals like we would a small child: feeding them, naming them, talking to them in a baby voice, and sometimes, even dressing them up in adorable outfits. Nothing can be compromised when it comes to the well-being of our animal counterparts.
By being an animal lover, we have huge and compassionate hearts. We have a love not only for our pets at home, but for any and every animal out there. We are deeply saddened by ASPCA commercials, as well as animals that we see on the side of the road killed tragically by traffic. If given the choice, we put the needs of animals before our own needs. We never once hesitate when asked to help out in taking care of animals in need. When asked why we care so deeply about animals, we simply answer "Everyone deserves a furry friend who helps them look forward to tomorrow".
Love and Muddy Paws,
Your Animal Lover Friend
