Recently the Boston Red Sox have been on a losing streak. In this losing streak the Red Sox have lost to the teams of the Tampa Bay rays, the Texas Rangers, and the Anaheim Angels. During a game at Fenway Park the final score ended up being 21-2. Many fans were very disappointed by this game because no fan was expecting the score to be that. Early in the losing streak a team meeting was called by General manager John Farrell. Recently since that game at Fenway Park the Sox were able to over come their losing streak. Looking forward if the Red Sox can rack up many wins and never have an 11 game losing streak they will have a chance to move up in the American League rankings and be one step closer to the post season this October and be one one step closer to the world series. Maintaining a winning streak is very important especially for the designated hitter David Ortiz. As many people know it is his last season with the team. The chances of a world series spot is likely but if they don't keep up their wins their chances of going to the world series could go up in smoke. If your a Red Sox fan then you can't be too happy with the way they are playing. Many players are making simple mistakes that can be capitalized on by other teams.

Not every team can win every single game. No team is perfect in any sports. A lot of coaches and managers may think they can make their team perfect but in reality no team will ever be perfect. Eventually it happens every season no matter what sport each team has a weakness or just makes bad plays or just has a bad game in general. Many teams believe that they can have that perfect season but it just cant can't be done like how the Golden State Warriors once went a majority of the NBA season until they faced the Boston Celtics at Oracle arena. Some teams just happen to find other teams weaknesses weather it be a simple mistake or a major mistake that the opposing team can capitalize on. Since the team meeting the Red Sox were able to over come their losing streak. I like many of the other loyal Red Sox fans believe that if they make smarter plays and capitalize when needed they could very well make the post season or at least capture the wild card for the post season for the American League championship series. They have proven that they can win a world series title in the past. Comment what your opinion is on the losing streak of the Boston Red Sox and if you think they will be able to turn it around this season and make the post season.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
