With everything that has happened recently in the news, I think it is important — now more than ever — to have a little positivity on everyone's newsfeed. While we all have different opinions and beliefs, I feel at the end of the day, we all should at least attempt to focus on what's truly important in life: our own happiness.
Happiness Is...
Going on random adventures with the people who mean the most to you.
Passing a class you thought you would fail.
Relaxing on the beach and listening to the waves crash against the shore.
Jumping into a cold pool on a hot summer day.
The first tailgate of football season.
Turning on ABCFamily and seeing they have a Disney movie marathon on.
Finally reaching payday.
Filling up your gas tank with your own money.
Doing your makeup flawlessly.
Buying new shoes for the new shoe smell.
Having your parents tell you they are proud of you.
Seeing people so deeply in love that you just have to smile.
Weddings. Everything about weddings.
Making a baby laugh and seeing their face light up.
The smell after a hard rain.
Spending quality time with your entire family.
The first sip of wine out of a new bottle.
Chicken nuggets. WITHOUT dipping sauce.
Playing with puppies.
Leaving Baton Rouge and seeing the Lafayette sign.
Finding friends who accept you for who you are.
When someone in front of you pays for your food #PayItForward.
Crawling back into bed to take the best nap of your life.
The feeling of freshly shaved legs against clean, warm sheets.
Watching children put out cookies and milk for Santa.
Hanging out with your pals and doing absolutely nothing.
Accomplishing a difficult craft all by yourself.
Driving around looking at Christmas lights while drinking hot chocolate.
Learning and accomplishing a new skill.
Finishing a great book.
Having a successful Pokémon Go adventure.
A kiss in the rain (as if that ever happens).
Warm chocolate chip cookies.
Hugging your mom after not seeing her in a while.
Taking off your heels after a long day.
Hearing your favorite song play on the radio.
Laying out in the sun.
Building a blanket fort and spending the day reliving your childhood.
Enjoying every single bit of your crazy life.
