Being in a long distance relationship is probably the worst thing ever—but the best feeling in that relationship is waiting for your significant other at the airport. I can't think of a feeling that trumps it.
Though airports are also your worst enemy (because they take your special person away from you by the end of their trip out), this time, they are a magical place where people are reunited with their loved ones—and you are a part of this process. I personally go through so many feelings when picking up my significant other from the airport, it's unreal... and I bet everyone else in a long distance relationship can relate.
1. That feeling when they are boarding their flight and you can't contain your excitement because they're going to be there in T minus __ hours or minutes. (Yes, you totally have a countdown.)
2. Your heart skips a beat as you reload the page for the thousandth time and see the plane has taken off.
3. Then you're stuck by yourself not able to text or call them while they're in the air...

4. You hurry up to clean and get everything ready so you can just relax when they're here.

5. But then you realizing you forgot to do certain things.
6. Now, time to get ready (aka look hot).

7. Then you're driving to the airport, like...

8. Finally, you get there, park, walk into the airport, and practically run to their gate.

9. Then you sit there, like...
10. You realize they're taking slightly longer than normal so you fear that they've been detained. (For people who are in international long distance relationships.)
11. But they finally come out and there is no one happier than you two at that moment.
