Living In A Suite Full Of Girls As Told By 'Friends'

Living in a suite full of girls is never easy. The mass amounts of estrogen alone are enough to drive anyone crazy. Add in the piles of clothes, curling irons, and tapestries, it is no easy situation to deal with. But no matter how crazy our suite mates make us, there is nothing more fun or amazing than getting to share a living space with them for one whole school year.

1. There is no such thing as peacefully waking up on your own in the mornings.

Waking up in the morning to not just an alarm, but a handful of screaming females.

2. Sharing a bathroom is comparable to the hunger games.

Fighting over who can have the shower first is a daily occurrence.

3. Everyone is scared of the mess police.

Without the mess police around I think the suite may actually evolve into a pigsty--so thanks for yelling.

4. Somehow clothes magically disappear and reappear in your closet constantly.

Owning your clothes is a thing of the past, its alls about stealing your suite mates nowadays.

5. Borrowing makeup, straightening irons and clothes are just the beginning.

Again, everything is shared. Even if you don't want it to be.

6. Boy drama

With the amount of girls living in this confined space there is bound to be non stop boy drama.

7. Snuggle buddies 24/7

8. 'Tell me how you really feel' is implied.

Honesty is key.

9. There is no such thing as secrets.

No matter how hard you try to whisper someone can always hear you. And eventually the whole suite knows, so don't even bother.

10. Always having someone down to get food with you.

A love for food is shared by all suite mates.

11. Never wanting to grow up and leave the amazing suite full of girls you call home.

As crazy as living in a suite is, these girls become your family. And it's going to be hard to leave them.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
