The past is the past for a reason. Yes, the past can be something that was a defining moment in our lives, but that is so reason to dwell in it. Rather than sitting back and regretting a decision we made, we need to look into our future because the fact of the matter is, you can not change the past but you have control over your future.

The truth is though, we do not know what tomorrow will bring. The only thing we know for sure is now. So, do not stay mad for long. Learn to love. Learn to forgive. Love with all of you. Have fun. Be stupid and enjoy life. Take your life, live it the way you want and most importantly, do not worry about people who do not like you. Cherish the ones that do.

This life is too short to wake up in the morning and regret. Take every opportunity you are given and run with it. Be spontaneous. You sit around and make plans. You wait for tomorrow. Well, what if tomorrow never comes? What if your last breath is right in these next few minutes it takes to read the rest of this article. Yet, you still refuse to go.

86,4000 seconds and it's another day. Time is slipping away. You spend all your time reminiscing the past.

Looking back, days, weeks, months, years. These are all fractions of time. Time that is over and you cannot get back. All of those things are behind us.

The only way to true happiness is to live in the moment.

Pick your head up. See whats going on around you. Enjoy today. You never know what today is your last.

A quote by Nathan Scott says, "It's the oldest story in the world. One day you're seventeen and planning for someday, and then quietly, without you ever really nothing, someday is today, and that someday is yesterday and this is your life."

We spend so much of our life running around, chasing ambitions, dreams, and passions. Think about this, imagine if you knew you were never going to see your best friend ever again. You could see them one more time. What would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love, what would it be? Now, say and do those things.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed. The only thing that is, is now. Love like you've never loved before, be goofy, do something spontaneous. The best thing you can do for the world is to make the most of yourself right now. Welcome the present moment as if you invited it on a VIP list. Why? Because it's all we have now.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
