I have always loved Lauren Daigle's music. The lyrics to her songs really speak to you and the meaning behind them is absolutely beautiful, but her new album, "Look Up Child," is a new level of amazing. Here are five songs you have to listen to from her new album.

1. Rescue

This is one of my favorite songs on Lauren's new album. If there has ever been a song that talks about how far God will go for us and to save us, this is it. Whenever we feel like we are at our lowest point or as if we have nothing left, God is there and wants us to know that he will move mountains to rescue us. He will never stop searching and going after us and our hearts.

2. You Say.

This is my absolute favorite song on the entire album because I relate to it so much! The song starts off by talking about how we fight voices and lies in our heads that tell us we aren't enough and won't measure up to what we think or what society tells us we need to be. In today's world, it is so easy to listen to what society tells us and the enemy only uses that to attack us even more. This song talks about how when we find ourselves in these situations God tells us the opposite of what we feel. He tells us that we are loved, we are strong, we are held, and we belong. It's time we block out what society and the enemy say and listen to what HE says about us because that is all that matters.

3. This Girl

We are all human and sometimes we can venture off of the path and lose sight of God. Sometimes, we venture so far that we feel like we can't see him at all, but in all of those situations he is watching us and trying to guide us home. No matter where we go or what we search and find, nothing will ever compare to God's unwavering love for us. "This Girl" is a song that talks about that and expresses how when we venture and come back home to God's love we aren't going anywhere else because nothing compares to him.

4. Love Like This

What did we do to deserve a love like God's? That's what this song asks. We are sinners, yet he loves us unconditionally. Jesus died and suffered on a cross all because he loved us. What did we do to deserve such a love? He gives it freely and is just waiting for us to come to him and receive his love in full force.

5. Look Up Child

I love this song on the album! Not only does it just make you feel so good and want to dance, but the meaning behind it is so special. Often times we ask where God is in certain situations. We ask where he is in the darkness, in the midst of our sadness and chaos, in our doubt and he responds, "look up child." He is in every situation, good or bad, and he is always in control.

These are just a few of my favorite songs from Lauren Daigle's new album. I encourage you to listen, not only to these but the entire album as well. All of these songs are special and have a beautiful meaning. If you are feeling worried, anxious, depressed, or you just want to praise the Lord and listen to how much he loves you, this is the album for you!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Being Invisible The Best Super Power

The best superpower ever? Being invisible of course. Imagine just being able to go from seen to unseen on a dime. Who wouldn't want to have the opportunity to be invisible? Superman and Batman have nothing on being invisible with their superhero abilities. Here are some things that you could do while being invisible, because being invisible can benefit your social life too.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
