Growing up with a brother is an adventure in itself, but growing up with only brothers? Life get's pretty crazy. The amount of horror stories you have is insurmountable, but the laughter you share along the way is what really counts.
When you grow up with only brothers, you don't have to worry about someone stealing your clothes, using your makeup, and wearing your shoes. And not having any girl drama in the house is a huge plus. But life with only brothers isn't always easier or more relaxed. In fact, if you've grown up with only brothers you can probably relate to the following:
1. Boys smell. Like really bad. So you constantly have to tell them to go shower.
2. You forced them to play Barbies with you when you were little, after all, they didn't know the difference between G.I. Joe and Ken.
3. Falling in the toilet is a regular happening in your house, and it never gets less annoying. How hard is it to remember to put down the toilet seat?
4. Boy clothes are so much better than girl clothes. And they don't even notice that their shirts and sweatpants are gone.
5. They are usually the last ones to be ready.
6. Sibling fights? More like war. There isn't hair pulling, there is punching. And your house is always a wrestling arena.
7. They are more honest than your girlfriends when it comes to how you look.
8. You probably get along better with guys than girls, because you were raised on the bro code. Thus, you suck at being a girl. The most you can do with your hair is a pony-tail.
9. If you don't make an effort to get the first helping of food, then consider it gone Needless to say, you don't share your food.
10. They make it their personal job to annoy you at all times whenever possible.
11. But the worst thing is when people ask if you're a couple.
Growing up with only brothers is challenging and sometimes you want to pull your hair out. When you were younger, you probably wished for a sister, but now you wouldn't trade your brothers for the world.
