Life is precious. We all go through our day just trying to make it from point A to point B.
Wake up.
Eat.
Class.
Eat.
Study.
Attend a club meeting.
Eat.
Do homework.
Work out.
Do more homework.
Go to bed.
Day after day after day.
We walk by acquaintances. Say hello. Maybe ask, “How are you?” and then expect a “doing well” or “good.” Do we actually care how they are? Possibly. Do we have time to find out? No. We’ve got to get from point A to point B.
We hear those stories about a young person passing away with strange medical issues. She/he has two younger sisters and two parents that have to put her/him in the grave. We are terrified at the news, but think, no, that could never be me.
It can. It could be you. It could be me. It could happen today, tomorrow, or thirty years from now. Take advantage of the time you have now. Let your loved ones know that you care. Life is precious.
