For 92 years now, the Walt Disney Company has been making movies, toys, and their infamous parks around the world. Disney not only has created parks into worlds of their own, but it has also created a world of movies that will continue to inspire generations of children.

When we were children, we fell in love with the Disney princesses and princes. We used to wish upon a star, to always stay young and never to grow up. Throughout all these years these life lessons and stories have helped shape us into who we are today. Here are eleven Disney quotes that should forever be remembered.

1. "All it takes is faith and trust."-Peter Pan

While I wish some days I had some pixie dust, I've realized over the past few years that sometimes when you're in a situation, the best thing to do is to have a lot of faith and go into that situation with trust that this can work out well.

2. "A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference."-Eeyore (Winnie the Pooh)

One of the biggest concerns with the current generations is that we have lost the ability to be considerate of others. Between the war on Target, the Starbucks cup controversy, and even the current presidential election, society wants to say their opinion. While this is great, they forget one simple thing: there are other sides. If you want to share your opinion that's great, but be ready to debate; there are always two sides to every story.

3. "You control your destiny--you don't need magic to do it."-Merida (Brave)

Going to college has a way of changing us. They decide that you should pick a major, and then take four years worth of classes and then graduate, and continue with that for the rest of your lives. While that may work for some people, not everyone is that way. Do what you want to do; you are the only one living your life.

4. "In every job that must be done, there is an element if fun."-Mary Poppins

Tune in to your inner Mary Poppins and listen; there is another saying related to this by Confucius, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life". It may seem easy to pick a job that is somewhat decent and help pays the bills, but if you can find a job that you want to do, you are more likely to challenge yourself to move up further on the career ladder.

5. "Your identity is your most valuable possession. Protect it."-Elastigirl (The Incredibles)

Be who you want to be. If college is not your thing, then don't do it. If having kids young is what you want to do in life then go for it. Don't stop being you just because you don't conform to societies ideas.

6. "Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it."-Rafiki (The Lion King)

You cannot become a better person if you do not learn from your mistakes. That being said, you can not learn to be a better person if you do not look into your past and see the strengths and weaknesses of yourself back then. Now, take those weaknesses and see how many of them have turned into strengths over the years, and how there might be fewer flaws now.

7. "If you don't think, then you shouldn't talk."-March Hare (Alice in Wonderland)

When we were little, we were taught 'If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all'. As technology is becoming more prevalent in our lives, it is so easy to say something mean or wrong about a person via the Internet because people think it is different than saying it in person. Well, it's not; saying something mean or evil is wrong, no matter where it takes place. Those individuals should think about that comment a little more before they post it to social media..

8. "The only thing predictable about life is its unpredictability."-Remy (Ratatouille)

We take life for granted. There may be a day that we go to bed, all ready for tomorrow, only to wake up and realize our whole town is gone. It could happen! Now, I am not saying that we should constantly live our lives in fear, but we must be aware that the next day may not be what you think it is.

9. "Do not be followed by its commonplace appearance. Like so many things, it is not what is outside, but what is inside that counts."-Merchant (Aladdin)

Beauty is only skin deep; what is inside is what counts. People have been trying to promote this idea in recent events. What is the biggest conflict against them is Hollywood, and the idea that to get what you want in life is to be skinny and beautiful and anything less is wrong and needs to be fixed. We all come in different shapes and sizes, and if we were to all conform to Hollywood's standards, then we would all turn into robots that think, talk and act the same way.

10. "Believe you can, then you will."-Mulan

You can do anything that you set you to heart to; it does not matter if others think that you can't. Prove them wrong. Show them that nothing can stop you.

11. "All of our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them."-Walt Disney

Walt Disney had a dream, and now has a multinational mass media company that has operations in over forty countries with 166,000 employees. If that is not courage to pursue a dream, then what is?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
