One Tree Hill was one of my recent addictions. The main influence of this addiction was Brooke Davis. It is easy to relate to her dynamic character and willingness to feel every emotion so deeply. She radiates confidence and isn't afraid of setbacks or transformation. These are the top 15 Brooke Davis quotes that changed my life.

1. “If you had a friend that you knew you’d never see again, what would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love, what would it be? Say it. Do it. Don’t wait. Nothing lasts forever.”

2. “What’s more important? What we become or how we become it?"

3. "Someone once said, 'It's the good girls who keep diaries. The bad girls never have the time.' Me? I just wanna live a life I'm gonna remember, even if I don't write it down."

4. "You know when I was a freshman I wasn't a very good person ... And over the last four years, I've been forced to grow up. I stopped letting boys define me, and I started believing in myself and in my potential.”

5. “Once you lose yourself you have two choices; find the person you used to be or lose that person completely.”

6. “People who are meant to be together always find a way to each other.”

7. "Do you know what my mother said to me when I told her I wanted to start a company? She said your chances are one in a million. And I said maybe I'm that one, and she said you're not. And she was wrong. Because I am one in a million."

8. "Somebody please tell me you've got love figured out, because I got news for you; it's pretty darn messy right now. But I guess it has always been that way. Wanting to be loved, to find somebody that makes your heart ache in a good way, feel understood. So if you're robots, or aliens, or something and you're watching this right now and that feeling no longer exists; well, you missed it and I feel sorry for you. 'Cause as far as I can tell, that's what it's all about."

9. “At the end of the day, you are who you are, and it's probably who you've always been.”

10. “We go days without having a meaningful conversation, and I used to miss you so much when that happened, but it never seemed like you missed me. And I guess because of it, I stopped missing you.”

11. “There's a day when you realize that you're not just a survivor, you're a warrior. You're tougher than anything life throws your way.”

12. “I'm not the most eloquent speaker so I borrowed a few words from Shakespeare: 'Love is not one which alters when it alteration finds.' When life gets hard, when things change, true love remains the same.”

13. “Everyone should have that, a place that makes them happy."

14. "Sometimes my heart aches at how my life has turned out, in a good way. It doesn't mean there haven't been hardships, there have been, but I'm here and here is good."

15. “How many moments in your life can you look back to and think 'That’s when it all changed.”

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
