There are many pros and cons to going to a small school. Liberal arts colleges in particular definitely have a different way of going about things than big state schools do. You end up seeing a lot of the same familiar faces, whether that's a good or a bad thing, but at the end of the day you know you've found the perfect school. Here are some moments that all liberal arts students can relate to, as told by our favorite characters from The Office.
1. You're bound to take some classes along the way that just mean nothing to you or your major, but you can't drop them since they're required to graduate.
2. When you talk to your friends at big state schools, their stories just aren't relatable.
3. Everyone knows about and gets excited for the big events on campus; they only happen once in a while.
4. You're bound to see your ex often around campus, and maybe even have class with them...
5. ...but you'll also see your crush a lot, and that's not something to complain about.
6. You can always meet with your professors for extra class help, and brag to your friends at big schools who are stuck in giant lectures.
7. It's not hard to meet up with your best friends, so you see each other all the time.
8. Your friends hear about the people that annoy you so often that they know them by name, even without ever meeting them.
9. Sometimes it seems like you've met a lot of people on campus and there just isn't a significant other out there for you.
10. But through all of the ups and downs, you know you've found your perfect little liberal arts home.
