Liberal Arts Colleges are special places filled with extraordinary people. Each one is unique but all share similar characteristics. Below are 20 things you know if you go to one!
1. You'll know a majority of the people playing at the sports events you attend.
The girl who lives next to you is a star volleyball player, the guy who shares his Chemistry notes with you was
2. A good 90% of people live on campus.
And you like it that way--they're right there when you need them.
3. Professors know you by name.
And likely your major and where you're from. It's nice to be known.
4. It is very obvious when someone skips class.
Even our freshman lectures only have 40 people in them, max.
5. By the third month of freshman year you know pretty much everyone in some way.
They might be your best friend or they might be "that guy who sits two rows in front of me in stats".

Many people are in at least one club, play an intramural sport, and probably is part of the arts.
7. Most people are either in band, orchestra, or choir (or multiple).
That's probably even one of the main reasons they decided to attend the school.
8. Your classes never exceed 50 people.
And usually your biggest class is Biology 101 and half the people drop by midterms.
9. You can walk from one side of campus to the other in 15 minutes.
And this isn't even when you're speed walking.

And are "forever changed."

And they always make sure you're doing okay.

They're not that scary.
