Just look how far you've come
It seems as if just yesterday
Your journey had begun

A journey full of unknowns
Of toil and of pain
Of wondering when it all will end
Hoping you'll wake up from this dream

Baby steps my darling
Open your eyes and see
The beauty that surrounds you
Even in suffering

Baby steps my darling
Just take Him by the hand
Know that He will hold you close
See His footprints in the sands

Baby steps my darling
Just one day at a time
Breathe in, let go
Let the fear fall from your hands

These moments they will surely pass
Like the shifting of the tides
Keep your eyes upon the Steady One
He will never leave your side

Baby steps my darling
Find your inner strength
Never let a moment pass
Or on the hard days, go unchanged

The seasons they may come and go
But there is one thing you should know....

You are never, never, alone
