Dear Friend,
When I first met you, you seemed so quiet and normal - what a silly mistake on my part! We made small talk, bonded over some things we found relatable, and with time we got to know each other a little better. You quickly became comfortable enough around me to show me your true colors - and boy are those colors loud, energetic, and nearly certifiably insane.
Our friendship has gotten to the point where I don't even take notice to your weird noises or loud comments in public anymore. There have been numerous times we've engaged in conversation with strangers and they laugh because I'm totally unphased by the fact you squeal like a dinosaur or laugh with your entire body flailing. I'll admit it is pretty funny because I've just accepted the fact that all of these things make up who you are as a person.
I'll just come out and say it though - you're embarrassing. You run instead of walk, screech instead of sing, and talk in so many different voices it's hard to keep track of them all. You are probably one of the most interesting humans I've ever met and I can say with all confidence that there is no on else quite like you. The thing is though, that is so incredibly special.
Although you may be loud, different, embarrassing, and all around a giant ball of energy...I love you to pieces. You've been there for me through it all and encourage all of the weirdness I contain within myself. You bring out my goofy side and I want you to know how important of a quality that is to have as an individual. You make others feel comfortable even if you've just met them (although, it usually starts off with you frightening them somehow...) and you can make other people smile with no effort at all on your part.
So, although you may act like a seven year old more than half the time, I cherish you for every goofy and silly quality you obtain. You make me want to become a better person who appreciates life to it's absolute fullest and for that - I'll say it again - I love you to pieces.
Love,
Your Friend
