Sweetheart,
You have asked and asked, “What are you going to write for the week after we get married? Are you going to write something about me?” Every time I’ve changed the subject or just said, “No.” As you know, I am someone who likes to surprise you, so I hope this is a surprise to you. I just want to say, firstly, you looked radiant on Saturday. I’m writing this the Sunday before we got married, but I already know that you looked unbelievably beautiful, as you always do. I know that the wedding was absolutely perfect already. I know this based on the fact that you were there and you married me!
I love you so much. I just need you to know that before I say anything else. You mean everything to me and I am so ecstatic to start this journey with you. I could not have picked a better person to go on this adventure of life with than you. I know things won’t always be easy, or even fun, but I wouldn’t want to grow old and wiser with anyone else. I’m looking forward to becoming one in life and growing closer, and closer, as the years go by.
I have always enjoyed our little adventures going to places without any concrete plan. I know you don’t always appreciate my lack of planning, but I think you have fun in the end. I’m excited to start this adventure with you and the fact that neither of us can exactly plan a fair amount of what will happen on this adventure. I know whatever will come our way, we’ll get through it together with the help of Christ in the center of our relationship. I can’t wait to see where God leads us and how we will serve him together.
Thank you for always supporting me in all my asinine ideas; from opening coffee shops to me just aimlessly walking through life at the start of our relationship, thank you. I wouldn’t have become the person I am today without your support and prayer for me. Thank you for your patience with me and all the love you have shown me over the past three years.
I know it’s always sounded cheesy, but I have always known I would marry you. From the very moment we met, I just knew you were the person I would spend the rest of my life with. I knew from the moment I first saw you. I have always loved you, and I always will. I’m so happy to call you my wife.
From the moment I met you, I knew you were the one I would marry.
I have always loved you, and I always will.
I will always be there to take care of you,
I will always support you
I will always encourage your spiritual walk
I will always push you to be your best
From now until the end, I will always love you
After all this time, and for all the time to come, always.
