I wanted to say, thank you. Thank you for being there for me when I swore the whole world was against me. Thank you for supporting and motivating me while on this crazy journey we call life. Thank you for making me realize my wrongs and thank you for not ridiculing me because of them, but rather, helping me understand my mistakes; thank you for being honest and concerned enough to do such a thing. Thank you for helping me get over my own insecurities and for helping me realize my worth; how it’s not a bad thing to love yourself, afterall. Thank you for believing in me, always, because when no one else does, it’s only your voice that tells me to keep going that soothes my worries. Thank you for never discrediting my dreams or goals. You know I’m afraid of failure, but you always reassure me that failure is inevitable, and if you never try to go for it, then you’ll never know what could have been.

Thank you for pushing me to be the best I can be. Thank you for listening to me rant, complain, whine and cry about the things that upset me or keep me up at night. Somehow, it’s always been easiest to talk to you. Thank you for those random phone calls that cheer me up whenever I’m having a bad day.

Thank you for comforting me at my worst, even the times when I was so angry, I would ignore or push you away. Thank you for picking me up from rock bottom again and again. It's something that one could easily get annoyed by, but you are always patient with me and you do it with love. Thank you for making me laugh even when you know I'm down. Your jokes are really cheesy half the time, but I still can’t help, but laugh. Thank you for all the lessons you have given me whether it be make-up or history lessons, I love them all and I love how you always want to share your knowledge with others. Thank you for keeping the secrets I trust you with. I'm never afraid to tell you or confide in you for anything because I know you can keep a secret and will always have my back.

Thank you for being you. You have always been a beautiful light in my life that I always look to on my dark days. You are everything I would have ever asked for in a sister, and more. You deserve everything great in this life and I hope you get nothing but that. Thank you, a million times and one, thank you. I wouldn’t be where and who I am today if it wasn’t for you. For that reason, I will never stop being grateful.
