Dear Grandma,
First and foremost, I would like to say that it is always a pleasure to visit you and stay with you for a few days. It makes dealing with Central Avenue traffic worth it. For me, it has become a tradition to come stay with you when I have breaks from school (spring break is coming up in a week!) I will always enjoy the fun times and good laughs we have.
As of now, school is going well for me because I am doing well in all my classes. I am just hoping to improve the C I have in math now. This week, I have a lot to do; I have to study for midterms and I also plan on working on some projects that are due the week after spring break just so I can get them over with. That way, I don't have to worry about having so much school work to do over spring break. This spring break, my mind and I are taking a well-deserved vacation from school.
I hope that everything is going well with you. I know that you miss me a lot when I am not able to come visit, but at the same time I know that you are very proud of me and how far I have come. Every time you tell me how proud you are, I can't help but smile. Those words of encouragement give me the strength I need to get through these tough times in college and to succeed in life in general. You are one of those people who have the special ability to make someone feel better when they are feeling unsure of themselves. That's a very good quality to have.
I look forward to seeing you soon and being able to help you whenever you need me. I have absolutely no problem helping you certain things you need help with. In fact, I would do anything in the world for you. If I had car, I would drive that hour-long drive from my college in Baltimore to Upper Marlboro in a heartbeat if you needed something. Stay strong and I will see very soon!
Your baby girl,
Keelie
