There are so many people I have been blessed to know and I can't thank them enough. Over the years I have been blessed to have some of the best friends I could ever ask for but there are always times where one friend always stands high and above other friends. All my friends have given me great memories That is your best friend. I have many friends who I consider my best but one of them has been my other half for the past few months. While we both have our differences we both do get along. Over the past few onths I have realized that while we have our differences there is nobody I would rather have the type of fun we have together. Heres to the past few months we have spent together and a view of our friendship as told by different gifs.
You have someone who you can always get food with
If you're ever hungry they are the first person you call and they are the person you usually go out to eat with. No matter the time or place one of you is always hungry and it always ends up with going to get food and eating so much. In friendships people don't judge each other based on the food or amount eaten.
One of you is always the DD
If theres one important thing I have learned in college besides how to be successful in classes is that you always need a DD. The good thing about having a best friend is that one of you is always the DD.
It's someone you can be yourself around
The best thing about having a best friend is that you can be yourself around them and just let loose. I can think of so many times of me just singing throwback songs and not thinking anything of it because they won't judge you.
Its someone you miss even if it hasn't been a day
The good thing about having a best friend is the memories you make. However, most of the friends I have made and even my best friend live farther away from me than most friends. You miss them even if you saw them a few days ago.
In fact they actually might have some fun with you
They don't hold back when they're being truthful.
You both grow to enjoy the movies the both of you like
They are someone you tell your other friends about
If my friends know me well enough they know I have always brought this person up in discussion and it ends up with your other friends wanting to meet this person.
When you have a test coming up or finals both of you try to motivate each other and do some studying.
They know when you are calling BS and call you out on it.
There is an upside and a downside of having a best friend. The upside is that they know you well but thats also the downside. If you tell them you did nothing wrong they are too smart to know that you're wrong and messed up badly.
Most importantly they are someone who you can talk about anything with.
While it is fun to be goofy with your best friend they are there for you when things are going awry and you need them more than ever. Whether it is emotional things such as relationships or something that stresses you out your friend is always there for you no matter the time or place.
In the end you couldn't be more thankful for them in your life.
While we have our differences and sometimes we yell at each other life without you would not be as fun. I can't picture parts of my life without you from the late night movies to discussions that never end not being your best friend would be a total drag. There are so many other people who have best friends that are unique like you but I think you are the best and the most unique. You have been my other half and sometimes better half and my voice of reason (which is needed a lot). I don't know how Im surviving winter break without you but I know that no matter what you are my best friend and I am so lucky enough to have you.
