Dear roomie,
It's been about three months since we moved in together, and it's amazing how we haven't gotten tired of each other yet. It's because of you that I can get through every day, because I know that I will be coming home to someone who will laugh with me about the things I was stressed out about the day before. Here are some of the reasons why I love being your roommate, and why I am thankful to share a tiny space with such a great individual.
1. You put up with my craziness:
Life can be stressful, but you always know how to react to my craziness. You not only support me in my decisions, but you also are there to make sure I stay on track. You are always there at the end of the day to remind me that I don't need to stress and that I will pull through the semester.
2. You are always thinking the same thing as I am:
Somehow, being roommates means we become telepathic. I'm happy to have someone who always has the same mind track as I do. You always know how to communicate with me, even if it's just by giving me a weird look.
3. You are there, even through the hard times:
Somehow, even on the hardest days, you know how to make me laugh. You allow me to see things in a different perspective, and really help me get through each day. You always make sure I am happy before the day ends, and you make sure I actually get up in the morning to go to class.
4. You're always a phone call away:
Sometimes I do really embarrassing things and I need to call someone and tell them about it. Lucky for you, you are the person I always need to talk to. When I go home for the weekend, you're the person I call when I get bored. You always pick up your phone, even if it is just me being stupid on the other end of it.
5. You don't really have boundaries with me:
When we live at such close quarters, it's hard to really make boundaries. Nevertheless, I'll sit in your bed at 2 am watching movies with you. We never really grow tired of each other, even if we are always up in each other's business.
6.You have my back:
No matter what happens, my happiness is at your best interest. If someone was ever hateful toward me, I know you would be the first one to stand up for me.
7. You are just as weird as I am:
I'm thankful to live under the same roof as someone who has the same sense of humor as I am. I'm happy when you laugh at all of my jokes, and I think everything you say is hilarious. We have more inside jokes than I can count, and I am happy to know that when I am in my room, I will always be laughing.
8. You are the perfect roommate for me:
Thanks for the long nights, the great memories, and the amazing friendship that we are just starting. I know that we still have a lot of time left as roommates, and I wouldn't want to spend that time with anyone else but you. Even though live can be crazy and overwhelming, I'm happy to be living with someone as amazing as you.
