Dear Wonderful Mothers,
From the moment your kids came into your life, you have given them nothing but all of the undivided attention and unconditional love they deserve. You changed their diapers, helped them walk, fed them when they were hungry, drove them all over the place to get to play dates and games and practices. You helped them with their homework as best you could, tried to make them feel less awkward throughout those awkward years, helped them strive for the best, and were there for them through every up and down they have faced up until this very moment (and will continue to do so forever). You've been Super Mom day-in, and day-out, even though you may not always feel like it.
You sometimes feel like your hard-work, dedication, and unconditional love can go unnoticed or unappreciated (especially during those moody, angsty teenage years). You sometimes feel like everything you have done, and everything you do falls short. You sometimes feel like nothing you do is good enough.
I promise you, Mom, that's the farthest thing from the truth. In reality, it is a well-known fact amongst us kids that we would be nowhere without our moms. Though we may not always show it in the best way, or at all, the truth is that you mean the world to us. From Day One, you have shown us everything we needed to see, taught us everything we needed to know, and loved us in a way that no one else ever will. Because of you, we are healthier, smarter, stronger, braver, and happier. Because of you, we have all of the tools we will ever need to succeed in our careers, relationships, love, and life. Because of you, we are the person we are today, and we can't thank you enough. There is no one in this world who can compare to you.
So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Mom, for everything you have ever done, everything you continue to do, and everything you will do for us in the future. You are our rock, our world, our Super Hero, and though it may sometimes be hard to tell, we love you and appreciate you. We couldn't have asked for a better role model, or a better mother, than you.
With all the love in our hearts,
Your Children
