A Letter To The Man I Love

There is a man in my life who makes the sun shine on my darkest days, even when I don’t think I want it to. He closes his eyes, tilts his head back and laughs, sending joyful giggles into the world, tempting me to beg for more. When he crinkles his freckle-filled nose, I can't help but smile, hoping he never stops. He wraps his arms around me at night when the summer air has settled into a brisk, autumn moonlight, and when he does, everything inside me calms. There is a boy in my life, who will always be the fuel to my fire.

Thank You For Pushing Me

It's not easy to listen to difficult things, especially when they're about you and something you've done wrong. Sometimes, it's not fun to hear the negative things about yourself, but you need to. You must have someone in your life that will break you down, only to help build you up again. Thank you for helping me every day to become a better, wholesome person. You're easily one of the only people who I am able to hear these things from-- and actually accept them.

Thank You For Loving Everything About Me

As humans, we are not beautiful all the time-- inside or out. So I am endlessly grateful for the beautiful love that you show me every single day, regardless of the situation. I have horrible days where I just want to scream at everyone, and you embrace me and love me even more. I'll never be able to show my gratitude for the insane amount of love you always seem to have pouring out of you.

Never Stop Being Yourself

You are a beautiful soul, and I never want you to stop pursuing your passions, and I pray that you want me there by your side along the way. I am grateful for the strength that we give each other, and it gets stronger each day. You are so incredible, and I have no idea how I became so lucky. You have taught me things about myself that I never knew I could learn. Thank you for loving me, teaching me, and holding me. I will never be able to describe the feeling that you bring me when I see you and I know that you will always be everything I need. You make me brave, strong, and fearless.
