My perfect, gorgeous, amazing and precious little, I just have one question for you. Are you ready for the best time of your life?
I am literally counting down the months, weeks, days, minutes and even seconds until I get to meet you, cry happy tears, give you the biggest hug, and of course take literally so many selfies. Sisterhood is such a powerful thing in my life, and you are going to love every aspect of being in a sorority. A sorority has, yes, made me much more outgoing and taught me how to have fun, but being a part of such a powerful group of women has also taught me much more. It has taught me how to literally "Aim High," strive for the best in and outside of a school setting and most importantly, our sorority has taught me how to become a strong leader.
So little, let me break it down to you how this whole thing works and why I am so excited to not only meet you but also make your college experience as amazing as it can possibly be! I promise, once you decide that our chapter here at school is the place for you to call home, you won't regret it. In fact, you will be so thrilled that you have made one of the best decisions of your life. I cannot wait for all the amazing times we are going to have together and the memories we are going to form to last both of us a lifetime.
First off, let me just explain to you how the excitement begins. Bid Day is one of the most amazing days you will encounter within your college experience. Believe me, when I tell you that long weekend is totally worth the moment you open that precious envelope that greets you to over 150 girls who you can now call your sisters. You'll not only receive physical gifts from us and tons from me down the line, but these girls will be some of the best gifts themselves that college will give to you. You'll be overwhelmed with joy and happiness.
Next comes the time in between Bid Day and finding out who your Big truly is. You won't know for a short while who I am, but once again the suspense is totally worth it. I'm so ready for you to think about who it could possibly be until the two of us are finally united as a family.
You'll end up meeting my Big, who will be your Grand Big and my Grand Big who will now become your Great Grand Big. You'll become the newest edition to the family, and we will take you under our wing within a second. Just like I will, the two of them will love every single aspect of you and will also want to spend an immense amount of time with you!
Little, the two of us are going to have so many bonding experiences together. Just think of all the fun and unforgettable nights out together and plan on going on a bunch of lunch, dinner and gym dates with me! I'll introduce you to my closest friends who will become your friends, too. I'll help you with whatever you need whether it is academically or socially just call/text/find me whenever you need to!
If you need to vent about the struggles going on in your life in regard to friends or boys I'm totally always here for you. If you need a shoulder to cry on or someone to laugh with until you are practically on the ground, that's what I'm also here for! My arms are always extended for that giant hug whenever I see you, and my smile will be the widest it has been whenever I see you. I'll be there to stand up for you in any circumstance, help you advocate for yourself and cater to each and every one of your needs. I mean, really, isn't that what big sisters are for?
On that note, get ready, little, for the best time of your life. Get pumped for all the amazing things that are going to happen. Your big (me), is so happy to have you not only become a part of her life but the little sister she's always dreamed of.
