Know that I've prayed for you diligently. God has planted a desire in my heart to want to give you my bet from day one. As always, I promise to be faithful to you and loyal to my word. But there's something you must know...

you will always be second.

It's something I've decided, free will has yet to take me over. I love you dearly, and we have become one. But I could never fully devote my life to you if I didn't know where my foundation was. I will serve my God before I serve my man, as I pray you do the same. My heart belongs to the One that taught me grace, washed me clean and covered me with His blood. My dedication is to the One that wrote my life and planned my world; my trust is in the One that loved me first. I'm grateful for your understanding, husband, that you will be loved forever simply because I have learned from Christ. But most importantly, my love is for the One that brought me you.
