I don’t think best friends get enough credit. Yes, you tell them how much they mean to you and how you couldn’t live without them. But best friends are special and deserve to be recognized for everything that they do. So here is my thank you to my best friend.

Thank you for always listening to me. Calling at weird hours of the day is not always acceptable for some people, but thank you for picking it up anyways. And then proceeding to listen to a rant and giving advice. Thank you for also picking up for the phone at three in the afternoon to go for coffee and talk about our day; even though we probably saw each other earlier that day. It means the world to know that I can call someone at any hour of the day and have some one at the other end of the phone.

Thanks for all the random adventures that we take. Thank you for going to Wal-Mart at midnight to get ice cream and a movie. Thank you for being willing to drive two hours for a concert, regardless if you know the music or not. Thanks for all the road trips and singing too loud and off key to the radio. Thanks for going out with me on a Saturday night and also to breakfast on Sunday morning. Thanks for staying at the library with me until late hours while I study for test. Thanks for making me laugh during these times to not let me get overly stressed. And when I do get too stressed, thanks for making me step away and taking me to do something else. Thank you for loving pictures as much as I do, meaning our adventures are always documented.

But most importantly, thank you for being you. You are one of the greatest person I have ever met and I can’t imagine my life with out you. Thank you for laughing at all my stupid jokes and crying with me at a sad movie. Thanks for watching stupid Facebook videos for hours on end. Thanks for laughing with me until our stomach hurts. Thanks for the FaceTime calls when we are separated from each other and just miss each other. Thanks for always caring and looking out for me. Thanks for sticking up for me, whether I am there or not. Thanks for always having my back in whatever I do. Thanks for everything that you put up with, you will never know how much I appreciate you. Thanks for being my best friend. Thanks for being my favorite person.
