A Thank You Letter From An Older Daughter

Dear Family,

I just wanted to say "thank you" for being my biggest supporters and fans. Thank you for showing me what true unconditional love is. Thank you for always being there. I may not show it all the time, but I am very thankful for each and every one of you. I am writing this letter to you to show you how grateful I am to you because I cannot thank you enough for always being there for whenever I need you. You are the best!

Mom: Thank you for taking me to countless horseback riding lessons, doctors appointments, and practices. Thank you for being my best friend. I always knew I could come to you with anything because you had my back. Thank you for teaching me right from wrong, and about what it means to be a child of God. Most importantly, thank you for loving me unconditionally even when I made it hard for you too. I would not be the woman I am today without your guidance and support. I love you!

Dad: Thank you for teaching me to believe in myself, and to never give up on my dreams. You have always cared for and supported my dreams. Thank you for showing me that I am a strong woman. You have always told me how strong I was, and I didn't need anyone to be happy. Thank you for helping take care of mom, me, and my brother. You have never made a decision without our best interest at heart. Thank you for showing me how a man should love a woman. Yours and Mom's love has showed me what kind of marriage I hope to have one day. Thank you for loving me, supporting me, and taking care of me and the family.

My little brother: Thank you for always protecting me, even though I am the oldest. Thank you for being there for me whenever I needed to talk to someone. Thank you for always supporting me. You inspire me every day, with the way you carry yourself and know exactly who you are. You also put me in awe of how athletic, and naturally, sports come to you. I am not the athletic type, as you know, so it amazes me when I watch you play baseball. Thank you for protecting me, inspiring me, and loving me.

As I have stated before, I cannot thank you enough for loving me unconditionally even when I do not deserve it. I may not admit it, but I need you. I need your support, guidance, and love. I need you to be able to accomplish all the dreams I have.
