Dear Grandma,
As I sit back and reflect on my life I can’t help but see a common theme. That theme is you. You are always there when I need you the most. You know how to turn any bad day into a great one. You always know exactly what to say to make everything better. My entire life you’ve been my number one fan. You never missed a game or chance to support me in any way. You always put me and the rest of my family before yourself. I don’t think that there will ever be enough words to say thank you for all that you have done for me.
In my entire life I’ve always looked up to you. You’ve inspired me in more ways than one. You’ve taught me that when I’m stressed, scared, or anything else I always have you and God to turn to. You have given me a different perspective on life. While we may have grown up in different times you always make it clear that respect and love should never disappear with time. With your old ways you’ve taught me to have respect and to always be classy. You never forget to ask me how my day is, and that alone makes me happy. You always seem to boost my confidence and make me feel confident even when you don’t know I need to hear it.
You always keep my stomach and heart full. Most of my favorite memories are from cooking in your kitchen and hearing stories of your past. You have taught me that true love will always last. Most importantly you have taught me that no matter how hard things get in life you can always work through them and that family will always come first. You have always been my backbone, given me so many life lessons, memories, and the purest of love. No matter what you will always be my favorite person. I’ll never be able to fully thank you for everything you have done for me. You have shaped me into the person I am today. Time spent with you is my favorite and I couldn’t be more thankful for the time we share. I love you oh so much.
