When growing up, my childhood was filled with daily "Full House" episodes. I can still quote my favorite episodes and relate to each character in some way. I feel that watching "Full House" has made me appreciate my family and friends even more because of the unconditional love they showed to each other.
Michelle taught me that a little cake and ice cream can fix anything. No matter what was going on, Michelle always knew that ice cream was the answer. She knew how to use her cuteness to her advantage and how to sneak around to get what she wanted. If you need a pick me up, go get some ice cream and don't let anything stop you.
Stephanie taught me that fitting in isn't the best way to make friends. When Stephanie had trouble fitting in at school and making friends, I could relate. Over time she taught me that it's best to be myself and that the people who can accept me as I am were my true friends.
D.J. taught me that life is not always fair. Whether it's dealing with younger siblings or friends who may not be true, life doesn't always work out in your favor. D.J. has taught me to love those around me and to love myself even when things don't seem to go my way.
Aunt Becky taught me that being a role model is always important. When D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle had no one to be a mother for them, Aunt Becky stepped in. She taught me that no matter what, it's always important be there for the important people in your life.
Uncle Jesse taught me that music is a major part of life. When Jesse came into the family, he introduced music to everyone. He sang to his wife at their wedding, got Danny back in to playing the guitar, and taught the girls how to be real rock stars. I've learned that music isn't just to listen to, but can bring a family even closer.
Joey taught me to find the humor in everything. Even during hard times Joey would try to make people laugh. Humor may not make life easier, but it can make it a lot more fun. I learned to do my best to make people laugh, and that humor can make any situation better.
Danny taught me the importance of family. Danny would never let any argument go without a hug. He taught everyone that family comes first. He was a role model for the girls but a fun (and quirky) dad all at once. I've learned to hug it out and love each person unconditionally.
