Each nation has a framework to identify children who are at risk of harm, take action to protect those, and prevent further abuse from occurring. John Szepietowski defines the meaning of this law. According to him, child protection means safeguarding children from any kind of crime or harm. This includes any mental, social, physical, or spiritual abuse. There is an extensive assortment of laws put in place to ensure that every child in the UK is safe and is living a quality life.

Department of Education

Mr. John Szepietowski talks about how to protect children in a different nation of the UK. Firstly, he talks about the most famous England, in England The Department for Education (DfE) is in charge of Children protection. It formulates policies, legislation, and statutory guidance on how the system should work. Local safeguarding partners are responsible for child protection policy, procedure, and guidance at a local level. In Scotland, the Scottish Government is responsible for protecting children. Children Protection Committees (CPCs) are responsible for multi-agency Children protection policy, procedure, guidance, and practice. In Scotland, a child legally becomes an adult when they turn 16, but statutory guidance which supports the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 includes all children and young people up to the age of 18. Where concerns are raised about a 16 or 17-year-old, agencies may need to refer to the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007, depending on the situation of the young person at risk. Section 21 of the National guidance for Child protection in Scotland explains how professionals should act to protect young people from harm in different circumstances (Scottish Government, 2014). Although the Child protection systems are different in each nation, they are all based on similar principles.

Children ACt 1989

The Law of Children protection also includes welfare and safeguard of the children. As stated in the Children Act of 1989, a parent or any person who is the person in charge of the protection of the child should ensure that they are safe and sound in any and every means possible.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
