Have you ever done something that was so weird you had just had to laugh at yourself for it? We all have done something silly that just makes us say, "I can't believe I just did that." Trust me when I say this: my life wouldn't be the same if I didn't laugh at myself every day.
As a kid, we probably have all heard the saying, "Laughter is the best medicine." It truly is the best medicine because it makes us happier and there are scientifically good reasons on why we should laugh every day.
The world today is filled with so much negativity and drama that we get sucked into it; we crave that negativity and that affects our mood and our mental health. So no matter what the situation is, trying to find the happiness and laughter in a negative situation is key. It is easier to find the negatives in a situation right off the bat, but takes time to think about the positives.
Some people find it easier to be negative and complain. We may call those people a "Negative Nancy." In today's society, there are so many possibilities on how to be a better and more positive person. For example, there are self-help books, videos, and so much more.
Have you ever seen a movie where you laughed through the whole thing? Or used the expression, I laughed so hard that I almost wet my pants? Another common one is, I laughed so hard I cried. Laughing makes us feel good on the inside. So, if that means watching that movie more than once that made you laugh so hard, don't be afraid to watch it.
It is said that laughing can make you live a longer life. In that case, laugh all the time, and we can all grow to be more positive and happier people.
