So, it was announced on September 29th that Lady Gaga would be taking the stage at this year’s Super Bowl half time show. There were rumors that either Gaga or Adele would be performing at Super Bowl 51, but thanks to Gaga sharing the new on twitter, everything has been cleared up. The singer tweeted this out to her fans:

“It's not an illusion. The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA! @nfl @FOXTV @pepsi #PERFECTILLUSION #GAGASUPERBOWL” - @ladygaga on twitter

Some people doubt that her halftime performance will be as good as last year’s, but with all things considered, Lady Gaga just might put on a show that can match up to the likes of Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Cold Play.

New Music. New Fans.

From Pop Goddess to Jazz Queen.

You might have noticed Gaga take a break from pop music recently to perform Jazz with one of her idols, Tony Bennett. They released an album together titled, Cheek to Cheek, and went on a world tour together for quite some time. They even starred in a Barnes And Noble commercial together last holiday season, where they covered one of the most beloved holiday duet,"Baby It's Cold Outside."

This transition in her career gained her a lot of new fans, broadening her demographic. Although she kept her signature outlandish style of clothing, she showed everyone that she is an actual musician and not just a crazy costume wearing pop diva. She can switch it up and be a jazz queen whenever she likes.

She's not Gaga. She's Stefani.

Perhaps Gaga’s crossover into the world of Jazz music was the reason for her invite to sing at the 2015 Academy Awards. She paid tribute to the 50th anniversary of “The Sound of Music” by giving a knock out performance of the melody from the film. Many people were surprised at her delivery of the song. This was Gaga’s shining moment where she proved she had the vocal rage of a true musical goddess. Some people went as far as to say we should call her by her real name, Stefani, instead of her stage name, almost as if they believed this was some reversed alter-ego.

The Perfect Illusion

It's going to get weird, and that's a good thing.

The Super Bowl Halftime show is known for being spectacular, and Lady Gaga is known for giving memorable performances. You just know she’s going to have several eye-catching costumes and entrance, crazy talented backup dancers, cool lighting effects, and she’ll close the show in the most innovative way she can think of. There’s no doubt she’ll give the viewers a perfect illusion. It’s just Gaga style to push the envelope.

It’s going to get weird, and everyone is going to be amazed or creeped out. Either way, it’ll be talked about as much as the actual game results the following day.

Gaga’s fifth studio album, “Joanne” is available now. The Super Bowl airs Sunday, February 5, 2017.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
