Lady Gaga broke onto the scene in 2008 and became a superstar by 2009. She became even bigger in the 2010s. She also stumbled a few times, but fought back with her undeniable talent.

From wearing a meat dress to headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, here are Lady Gaga's top ten moments of the decade.

10. ARTPOP

When this album was released in 2013, it appeared to signal Gaga's downfall. However, in retrospect, we can all appreciate what a great dance-pop record it was.

9. Carpool Karaoke

Gaga made an appearance on James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" during promotion for her album, "Joanne." It's quite impressive how her voice seamlessly blends with the one coming from the radio.

8. Gaga: Five Foot Two

This Netflix original documentary followed Gaga as she prepared to release her album, "Joanne," and perform the Super Bowl Halftime Show. It was a raw and revealing look at who Gaga really is. It also documented her battle with chronic pain.

7. Cheek To Cheek with Tony Bennett

In the aftermath of "Artpop," this duet album helped Gaga reach a whole new audience. It also helped her gain a whole new level of respect from the public. Prior to this release, so many of Gaga's musical talents were overlooked because of her theatrical nature.

6. Joanne

While not a favorite among all Gaga fans, this deeply personal album is a highlight among Gaga's catalogue. It might not be her usual brand of dance-pop, but it still has plenty of the goodness pop has to offer. It also proved she could strip away all her avant-garde sensibilities and still be Lady Gaga.

5. The Monster Ball Tour

The Monster Ball Tour captured Gaga at her peak in popularity and success. It played to millions of fans around the world for two years. It was also shot for a concert film which aired on HBO and released later on DVD.

4. A Star Is Born

This was Gaga's first starring film role. Gaga not only proved herself as an actress, but found success with the film's soundtrack. The song "Shallow," sung with Bradley Cooper, became a huge success. It even earned Gaga her Academy Award for Best Original Song.

3. Super Bowl LI Halftime Show

Gaga headlined the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show in 2017 to a record amount of viewers. Her halftime show became the second most viewed halftime show at that point. Her hits-filled setlist and impressive choreography made it worth the watch.

2. "Telephone" Video

The premiere of the "Telephone" video transported everybody back to the eighties. In an age where music videos get uploaded to YouTube, this one premiered on television. The 10 minute short film featuring Beyonce got its world premiere on the "E" network in 2010. Needless to say, Gaga added "Telephone" to her list of huge pop hits.

1. The Meat Dress

Gaga swept the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. Even though she didn't perform, Gaga still managed to steal the show. Her iconic meat dress became one of the most talked-about moments in VMA history. What most people don't know, is its meaning was a commentary about the controversial "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. Gaga arrived at the show with several gay and lesbian service members who were discharged.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
