Inside Kylie Jenner's Extravagant 18th Birthday Party

This was not your average 18-year-old's birthday party.

If you've been keeping up with the Kardashians this past week, you definitely heard about the clan's youngest sister's 18th birthday party.

While most 17-year-old's look forward to turning 18, Kylie Jenner had a few more reasons to be excited about it because her party definitely blew everyone's 18th celebration out of the water. Her party was not a normal one for someone celebrating the start of adulthood as she got gifts that cost more than four years of college tuition put together.

Before her birthday even came, her mom/manager, Kris Jenner, treated her youngest to a Hermes Birkin bag that costs anywhere from $11,000-$15,000.

That bag could probably cover one semester of my college tuition.

Kylie's big day finally came and she started it off with a visit to a children's hospital. She made care packages for all the kids that included Beats headphones, Rob Kardashian's designer socks, candy and blankets.

After her good deed, it was time to party.

The party started off with dinner at the Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles, and then it moved to Bootsy Bellows, a club that is co-owned by David Arquette.

She surprised everyone at the party by her decision to go blonde, which she rocked with a beautiful sparkly white and nude dress.

Although, I'm left wondering if her blonde hair will last longer than Kim Kardashian's three-day blonde sessions.

During the party, her no-longer-rumored boyfriend, Tyga, 25, made sure his girl was spoiled on this special day by surprising her with a white Ferrari 482 Italia that costs about $320,000. No big deal.

Kylie also had special guests Fetty Wap and Post Malone perform songs for her and her guests, including the summer hit, "Trap Queen."

Some other guests in attendance included Caitlyn Jenner, Kris Jenner and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, the rest of the Kardashian clan, Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas, Zayn Malik and many more.

And as expected, tons of of selfies were taken. The Kardashians will never leave you hanging with no pictures of the big events happening in their lives — you gotta keep up.

As the big day came to a close, the celebration did not die down. Kylie turned her birth"day" into a birth-week by celebrating in Punta Mita, Mexico with Tyga and pals for the next several days.

And here I was, at the age of 18, excited to be able to finally vote.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
