The addiction is way too real.

5 Things To Know Before Watching '90 Day Fiancé'

Seriously, I started this show as a quarantine binge watch and now I have no idea how to stop.

1. Once you start, you can't stop.

I wish I was exaggerating. What starts as an innocent TV show binge will turn into a 24/7 marathon, every day for at least a month. There's just so much drama, awkwardness, and moments that will definitely make you sink all the way into your seat because you're cringing that hard. But don't get me wrong! There are some parts that might make you smile but they last for a good five minutes, and then it's right back to cringing.

2. There are literally seven spin-offs of the show... seven.

Let me just go ahead and list them all out for you: 90 Day Fiancé, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, 90 Day Fiancé: What Now, 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, and 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined. Is it really necessary to have this many spin-offs for one show? Definitely not. But will I be watching them all? Most likely.

3. There are some people you'll love and some you'll absolutely hate.

There are a lot of people on this show and it gets hard to keep up with them all, but some of them really stand out! Which is either because you really, really like them or because you just can't stand them at all. But In the end, you'll probably find yourself stalking their Instagrams whether you like them or not because you'll just get that curious.

4. You will yell at the screen, a lot.

The extent some of these people go to is extreme. David from season four of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, I'm talking to you man. The things they do make you wonder, is this actually for real? And when you realize it is real you start to wrap your head around how some of them can be, which just makes you yell at your screen even more.

5. If you watch with your family, expect them to get addicted as well.

I definitely don't mind this one at all because ever since I've gotten my family hooked, the house has been filled with laughter. We'll sit around the TV for hours bonding over our love/hate relationship with the show. Fair warning: there will be lots of arguing over which couples you all think will last and which ones won't.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
