Celebrities We'd Rather Have As President Before Kanye

Because we've all wondered what our favorite celebs would be like as President.

Celebrities We'd Rather Have As President Before Kanye

It's no secret that at the recent VMA's, Kanye West announced he was running for President in 2020. Now I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be taking Kanye seriously anytime soon. Although this got me thinking, what other celebrities would America want as President? Here are a few I came up with:

1. Ellen Degeneres

I mean who wouldn't mind Ellen making her acceptance speech in a Glinda the Good Witch costume? And on top of that, dance parties at every conference!

2. Jennifer Lawrence

Or maybe J-Law because she's the celebrity who is perceived as "just like us" and has no filter. J-Law is definitely a people's person.

3./4. Jimmy Fallon and/or Justin Timberlake

How about this President-Vice President duo? These best friends come up with some of the best raps right on the spot. I don't know about you, but I see great potential for some sick rhymes at press releases; plus choreographed dances at campaigns.

5. Taylor Swift

She's already one of the biggest stars on the planet and just imagine all those songs that could come out of people wrongdoing her in the White House! I don't know about you, but I'm seeing multiple albums dropping. And her squad would obviously be her cabinet, just as long as they didn't go too crazy with the whole burning thing.

6. Drake

Okay, yes he is Canadian, but here me out first! He's sensitive, listens well, and is humble. In the category of rapper president, I'd vote Drake!

7. Rebel Wilson

Again, I know she's Australian, but come on she's one of the funniest people on this planet! And I think we could use some humor in the White House.

8. Amy Schumer

She's honest, she's funny, and she's not afraid to drop a truth bomb in your face. Amy has been taking the Hollywood scene by storm and I wouldn't mind seeing her as President especially since she gets right to the problems and bypasses the fluff.

9. Judy Genshaft

At USF, she's basically a celebrity. She already has the experience of being President for a large, successful campus. I think she's ready to take it to the next level. #Judy2020

10. Angelina Jolie

Not only is Angelina giving and kind, but this would make Brad Pitt "First Lady".

11. Batman

He's all for justice and knack for saving politicians. This would also mean Robin would be his VP.

12. Rodger Gadell

He's got that whole lying down as well as damage control skills. Actually let's not.

13. Lebron James

He'd be a slam dunk, President!

14. Chris Pratt

We've seen him tackle dinosaurs, how about Congress? (Preferably the same way!)

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
