Kanye West's Best, Worst, And Most Kanye-Esque Moments Of All Time

38-year-old American rapper, Kanye Omari West has never been one to shy away from speaking his mind. Whether it be on social media, during award shows, or just about anything that crosses his path. Over the years, West has managed, to varying degrees, to bewilder, intrigue, entertain, delight, and anger many, many people. However, given the length of his career and the lack of his coverage, there’s no one good place to find all his best quips. Until now. And with the recent announcement of his running for the 2020 presidential election, there is no better way to fully understand your candidate than to list some of his best, and craziest moments of all time.

1. West's 2004 American Music Awards meltdown

To kick off the list, we must begin with the moment that started it all. Even 11 years ago, West was foreshadowing what was to come. Fairly new to the award show-nominee scene, he stormed off in rage on the set after losing the Best New Artist award to country star Gretchen Wilson at the 2004 American Music Awards. West believed he was, "definitely robbed."

2. West's Concert Attire: Yeti gone wild

Just when you think you start to understand West, he changes the game with a new fashion statement to keep you on your...claws. The feathered West strutted his stuff during a December 2012 concert at Atlantic City’s Revel Casino. Better watch out, Lady Gaga, West is coming in full claws.

3. Yeezus has to use the restroom, too

When West appeared on Conan's "Late Night" in November of 2008, things started off normal. Well, as normal as you can have an interview with West. From discussing his fashion sense, to his harsh encounters with the paparazzi, West felt the need to inform Conan mid-sentence that he has to use the bathroom, "Really, really bad, and they didn’t give me enough time, I just wanted to tell you that.” When you gotta go, you gotta go, Kanye.

4. Alligator Boots: West's TV show-debut

West may tell the public they can't tell him nothin', but obviously someone should have told him of the highs and lows of television. Back in 2008, West made a pilot of the show, "Alligator Boots," which he collaborated on with rapper, Rhymefest. The concept of the show was kind of "The Muppet Show" meets hip-hop. The highlight of the low-running show has to be the pilot, which included a sketch featuring Berry White, serenading a metal bikini-clad Princess Lelia, played by West's now-wife, Kim Kardashian.

5. West poses as Jesus in Rolling Stone: The Rise of Yeezus

What's the difference between Kanye West and God? God doesn't think he's Kanye West. Per usual, West caused more than a little Kanye-esque controversy back in 2006, when he posed as Jesus Christ himself, complete with crown of thrones. To no one's surprise, this did not sit well with religious groups calling it, "a slap in the face" to Christians. But the real question left to answer is then, are you converting to Yeezus?

6. Kanye West Vs. Jimmy Kimmel

West loves the caps-lock key. He is also fond of exclamation points. Two loves that certainly collided when, on the Sept. 24, 2013 episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Kimmel showed a spoof of West's interview with Zane Lowe. The spoof, featuring two kids in the West and Lowe roles -- milkshakes in hand -- made West less than happy. Solution? A Twitter rant of course! He expressed, through less than appropriate terms for The Odyssey, his explicit views on the matter. Kimmel, being his comedian self, invited Kanye onto the show to help reconcile their differences. Kimmel better watch out next time, or it's his blood that will be on the leaves.

7. "You ain't got the answers, man!"

During a 2013 interview with Sway Calloway on the Sirius XM station Shade 45, West flipped out after his old friend dared question why he doesn’t use his own money to fuel his fashion pursuits. “How, Sway, you ain’t got the answers, man.” West then proceeded, going on to take jabs at Calloway’s own failed enterprise, What’s the name of your clothing line? We don't know." Oh Yeezus. Shots fired.

8. "Bush doesn't care about black people"

The teleprompter can't tell West nothin'! During a live TV fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Katrina days after the storm, he ditched the lines prepared for him and prepared something of his own. Co-presenter Mike Myers captured the public's reaction perfectly as he stared blankly ahead, the rapper blasted the media's portrayal of Katrina's black victims and added, memorably, "George Bush doesn't care about black people," at which point the show's producer cut him off and abruptly moved to the next presenter.

9. Look! It's Picasso! Steve Jobs! Walt Disney! It's, Kanye?

Leave it to West to compare himself to not only to God, but also to some of the most notorious creators of all time. Following his tirade that covered everything from fashion, to Justin Timberlake, to even corporate sponsorship, he shared with his screaming crowd at London's Hammersmith Apollo last February, that he, Kanye West, is a creative genius, thus making him Walt Disney in the flesh. Perhaps a theme park is in order for the acclaimed rapper? Attractions could include, but not limited to, Yeezus Mountain, Imma let you finish Califonia Screamin', etc.

10. Taylor Swift gets Kanyed, 2009 edition

West has made a habit of airing his displeasure at awards shows. Taylor Swift barely had a chance to accept her award for Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on before West rushed to the stage, grabbed the microphone out of the startled teen's hands, and proclaimed some of his most notorious lines of all time. Do they even need to be said? Okay. Just this once. West: "I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!" Just shake it off T-Swizzle!

11. Kanye announces he's running for President

Yeezus is in the house! Or, White House, maybe? To end our journey through the epicenter of West, we must take a look at his finest moment we have to date. During the 2015 Video Music Awards, West dropped his latest platform for his wishes to become the President of the United States of America in 2020. Hopefully, he and his campaign advisers will drop his policy agenda soon. A possible West "West Wing" in the works? Only time will tell.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
