The Final Four really got to all of the Jayhawks. No matter if you made it to San Antonio to cheer for KU in person or if you were with them in spirit, all of us had a roller-coaster weekend. It put all of our hearts through the wringer. Though we didn't make it to the final, as Jayhawks, there are more things we can do than we think to get through the little sad post-game moods.

1. Still, show cheer and supports for our players

Although we really want to beat all other schools and win the champion, our athletes are the ones who are fulfilling our dreams. The efforts they make and the time they spend training, the pressure they have to overcome for the season are something that we'll never experience.

So even if they lose this one, we should still let them know we are really proud of them and the whole campus is waiting for their come-backs. They need our supports and cheers especially when they lose the game. We are the big family that's always here for them, no matter they win or lose, they carry the glory when they come back on this land.

2. Do not spread your negative thoughts about the game on campus

We already know that we lost the game and we don't need you to remind us of the pain. We also don't need your point of view on what our athletes could've done to win the game or why we lose because we don't care about your thoughts. If you are really that of an expert, I suggest you take over as coach.

If you don't think you can do that, then just shut your mouth and smile. We only need positive energy at this point. So get rid of your big-mind thoughts and don't try to be a pro.

3. Get some sleep to make up for the madness

We all had an exciting week and used all of our energy to get ready for the game. It's time to get some real sleep without thinking about the game, or suddenly wake up because you dream about cheering in the game and it gets you really energetic.

We have all been incredible supporters for KU and it's time for us to be supporters of our own bodies. It's more important for us to get enough rest to face everyday challenges in college.

4. Get back to your homework and prepare for the week

I guess most of us just dump our homework aside to watch the game on weekend, at least I didn't start a single page for my four papers that are due this week. But we have to face the reality that we are not going to have day-off for school. All homework and classes are just going to be as usual as before.

What a magical transition huh! But yes, the truth is we still have to finish the undone homework and prepare for the five-day school week. No rush, embrace yourself for that, give a little smile to the homework and get right to it!

5. Clean your game gears and look forward to the next season

What did you do with all your gears? Did you kiss them and store them well for the next NCAA season? Well if you didn't you probably should, because they are pretty holy and have some special meanings. That crimson and blue really need your care to keep as shiny as they are right now. Don't just throw them away because you are too upset to see KU lose and still having a hard time believe it. Because next season they will absolutely shine till the very end.

I know it's really hard to make through this transition smoothly because most of us are still in the mood of cheering and screaming and definitely not really for schooling. But the reality is cold and real, time for us to get down this roller coaster and wait for the next ride.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
