Jack Pearson is one of the greatest television dads we've seen in a long while. It's refreshing to see a dad who gets involved in the kids' lives in a time in television where the dads are seen as clueless, especially when it comes to their kids. In preparation for our hearts to be ripped out of our chests when we find out what happened to him, here's a look at all the reasons to love Jack Pearson.

1. He can Vogue.

2. He took the sourest lemons life had to offer and turned them into something resembling lemonade.

3. He managed to hold all of these kids on a pool chair.

4. He WAS Pilgrim Jack.

5. He's the first one to jump into action.

6. He stayed up all night bedazzling.

7. Even people who never met him respect him.

8. He knew his kids were still individuals.

9. And he knew how to take care of each one of them.

10. He inspired his children to be the best they can be.

11. He loved his wife like no other.

12. And he always figured it out.

So here's to you, Jack Pearson. Whatever may happen, you'll always be the best television dad ever.
