It's Time To Abolish All Soft Drinks

Soda is not good for us and we should say no to drinking soda from any brand that distributes it.

In the past, we as consumers have bought into a variety of exciting, savoring, flavorful, and what we think to be delicious treats from a wide range of distributors. All dealing with a different kind of edible substance for us to consume for the pleasure of our own desire or in some cases also use in more unusual practices. What does it take though to really sell these items? Apparently, from what many people could often insinuate is just that the product that these companies sell is just "tasty." Of course, everyone loves a particular soda or candy because it tastes good and it is what they prefer when often dealing with something to consume that is sweet. Plus, with the added advertisements through both social interaction and the media, it is not really much of a question as to how these markets are able to sell so much. There is one factor that some individuals do overlook when discussing this particular subject mostly because it pertains to anyone as a consumer and that factor would be the ignorance of consumers. It is nothing to be shameful about as we all have given into buying something so that we may silence our dietary habits. The unfortunate toll though is far worse if we continue to not identify the content that makes this product that we consume.

It has become a very important role for people in society now in our present time to eat healthily. One way to do this is to closely study the edible products that you are choosing to buy to consume for later consumption. Seems easy enough although that has not been the case given the fact that companies like Coca-Cola and Pepsi are still around to this very day. While both companies have had their share of beatings with people buying less of their soft drinks they are still turning up profit regardless. They have even attempted to make what they call "ground-breaking work" on making their drinks more suitable for consumption like minimizing the normal cans that contain the soda and adding a more diverse variety of drinks to choose from. This is not resolving any of the issues that are faced with drinking their products. They still add up to the same facts that if you continue to drink these beverages you will experience tooth decay, unusual feeding habits, accelerated aging, caramel cancer-causers, weird fat, diet soda belly, etc. The list of things that soda does to your system is staggeringly high, with all of it mostly resulting in negative outcomes that could have been simply avoided if you stopped drinking these types of beverages. Case and point these companies need to either make a newly formulated beverage or close up shop for good.

Ultimately, it is up to us as consumers to stop the progression of soft drink companies. The present shows we are vastly more knowledgeable than we were in the past. We continue to make the world better by applying more of what we have learned to the stability of our existence by extinguishing or at the very least limiting all the negative factors that wish only wish to destabilize our world. Getting rid of soda won't make the world better in a highly significant fashion but as it has clearly been shown it is of no real benefit either. It will have a significant role in making new rules for other companies to follow when they make their edible products so that we as consumers can continue to make healthy choices, while still being able to eat our favorite drinks and food that we have come to enjoy for many generations.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
